What’s better than fried donuts? Baked ones!




How do you go about making these, you ask.

Baked Doughnut Recipe (makes 12)

Flour 1 1/2 cups

Sugar 1/3 cup

Eggs 2

Butter/oil 3 tbsp

Buttermilk/milk 3/4 cup

Baking powder 2 tsp

Baking soda 1/2 tsp

Salt 1/2tsp

Vanilla (or any flavour of choice) 1 tsp

Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius or 350 Fahrenheit

Mix the wet ingredients

Sieve the dry ingredients

Pour wet into dry and whisk thoroughly, finish off by scraping bowl with spatula.

Fill doughnut tray half way and bake for about 18-20 minutes; flip 2/3 of the way through.
